Viib Slide is an expansive alternative rock studio project led by NYC-based multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Carter Brady, alongside New Jersey producer Connor Hanson (Flycatcher, Fliq) and powerhouse session drummer Santo Rizzolo.

Born out of a collaborative streak in late 2024, the project serves as a dynamic creative outlet running parallel to Brady’s solo output. The name reflects its core mission: sliding across sonic textures to build a multidimensional, hook-heavy wall of sound that pulls from 90s alt-rock revival, midwest emo, and 2010s indie pop. Across their debut record Alternanova, Hanson treats the studio as an instrument, transforming Brady’s raw demos into punchy, layered anthems driven by roaring guitars, infectious melodies, and Rizzolo’s dynamic percussion.

For now, Viib Slide exists strictly as a focused digital recording collective—a dedicated canvas for high-output studio experimentation without the immediate demands of the road. But with the foundation laid and a rich catalog taking shape, the door remains wide open for what this collaborative spark might evolve into down the line.
